Chef's Condominium: A Modern and Minimalist Renovation by Fine Craftsmanship INC.

Fine Craftsmanship INC., a Los Angeles-based design and contracting firm, partnered with FATTSTUDIO, a Bangkok-based design practice studio, to renovate a 180 square meter condominium located along the Chao-Phaya River in Bangkok. Completed in 2016, the project, called Chef's Condominium, is the result of a professional chef's desire to transform his 1980s residence into a modern and minimalist space that reflects his personality and lifestyle.

The renovation involved reconfiguring the layout of the condominium, which originally had three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, a dining room, and a kitchen. The designers merged two of the bedrooms into one spacious master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and a walk-in closet. They also opened up the living room, dining room, and kitchen into one continuous area that overlooks the river and the city skyline. The kitchen was relocated to the center of the space, creating a functional hub for the chef. The third bedroom was converted into a study room that can also serve as a guest room when needed.

The design concept was inspired by the chef's passion for cooking and his preference for simplicity and elegance. The designers used a neutral palette of white, gray, and black, with accents of wood and metal to create contrast and warmth. The furniture and accessories were carefully selected to match the theme and to provide comfort and convenience. The lighting was also designed to create different moods and atmospheres depending on the time of day and the occasion. The result is a sleek and sophisticated condominium that showcases the chef's taste and talent.
